Advanced Instrumentation Development Center

The Advanced Instrumentation Development Center (AIDC) is a hub for research instrumentation efforts at Yale University to facilitate cross-cutting ideation and innovation.

The AIDC facilities, now under construction as part of Yale’s Upper Science Hill Development project, will provide new spaces and supporting infrastructure for the design, fabrication, and testing of novel research instrumentation.

The AIDC will be a center for research, education, and training. The AIDC will offer a physical location, technical expertise, and programming to enable the instrumentation community to connect researchers and staff across campus and beyond.

The AIDC contributes to Yale University’s science strategy (see reports, below) and  builds upon the existing Wright Lab Advanced Prototyping Center.
